Richards brings more than 20 years of experience in advancing sales organizations and defining leading-edge digital sales channels
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 10, 2022 — Nextdoor (NYSE: KIND), the neighborhood network, today announced it has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Tim Richards, a seasoned sales and marketing veteran specializing in technology, media and entertainment. As the Head of Global Enterprise and Mid Market Sales, Richards will lead Nextdoor’s global direct advertising sales strategy and market expansion. He is charged with accelerating Nextdoor’s global growth, reinforcing the company’s commitment to serving advertisers, partners and consumers across the neighborhood network.

Richards joins Nextdoor from Linqia, a leader in influencer marketing, where he served as the company’s first Chief Revenue Officer. While at Linqia, he rebuilt the revenue organization to focus on enterprise brands, growing the revenue exponentially while also dramatically improving customer retention. His extensive career spans across scaled companies such as AOL/Verizon & Time Warner, as well as start ups such as Amaze and Onvia. As the Head of U.S. Sales at AOL/Verizon, Richards oversaw the nationwide sales organization, driving profitable sales growth across the media companies’ platforms. During his tenure at AOL, Richards strategically partnered with the world’s largest brands and agencies to propel growth for AOL’s new digital ad channels, including online video and programmatic.
