    Jennie Sager

    Country Manager, Australia

    Jennie Sager is an Executive with more than 20 years experience creating and delivering global first campaigns for top tier companies. Throughout her career in both television and tech, Jennie has partnered with organisations from every sector including government, emergency services, law enforcement, sports, entertainment, health and wellbeing, and more. She is passionate about giving a voice to diverse communities, celebrating their stories and surfacing their challenges in an effort to build stronger and safer communities. Jennie has worked in more than 65 countries and as Twitter’s Director of Content Partnerships for Asia Pacific, Jennie oversaw the teams in Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, India, Singapore, and Australia. As the Head of Nextdoor Australia, her mission is to cultivate a kinder world where everyone has a neighbourhood to rely on. Jennie also sits on the Board of Directors of Sydney’s premier entertainment venue, City Recital Hall,  and is a Director of the Ending Loneliness Together committee.

    Heidi Andersen

    Head of Revenue

    Heidi is Nextdoor’s Head of Revenue, overseeing the global revenue team and revenue streams. She joined Nextdoor after serving at LinkedIn and Google.

    Prior to joining Nextdoor, Heidi served as LinkedIn’s Vice President of Global Sales, where she built the Global Online Sales Organisation under LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions division. She founded the business unit and grew it to $1B+. Prior to LinkedIn, Heidi worked in Google’s AdWords Sales group and helped build Google’s Display Ads Business to $5B+.

    Mike Doyle

    CFO

    Mike is Nextdoor’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing all corporate financial activities including financial and strategic planning, accounting and reporting, treasury and tax functions. Before joining Nextdoor, Mike served as CFO at Despegar, the largest Latin American travel agency. Mike has also held finance leadership roles at eLong, Expedia, Teledesic, and GIC.

    Mike has more than 25 years experience in corporate finance. Before joining Nextdoor, he served as CFO at Despegar, Latin America’s largest travel agency, where he led the company’s successful NYSE IPO in 2017 and continues to serve on the board. He also served as CFO at eLong, a formerly Nasdaq-listed, China-based online travel agency and has held finance leadership roles at Expedia, Teledesic, and GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation). Mike began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. He graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Finance and from Harvard University with an MBA.

    Mike is from Atlanta, Georgia, has lived in Argentina, China, Indonesia and Singapore and now lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children. Download Mike’s photo

    Sarah Friar

    CEO

    Sarah is Nextdoor’s Chief Executive Officer. Before joining Nextdoor, Sarah served as CFO at Square, SVP of Finance & Strategy at Salesforce, and lead software analyst and Business Unit Leader at Goldman Sachs.

    Prior to serving as Nextdoor’s CEO, Sarah was CFO of Square. Under Sarah’s leadership, Square launched its initial public offering in 2015 and added $30B in market cap. Before her tenure at Square, Sarah served as SVP of Finance & Strategy at Salesforce. Sarah also held executive roles at Goldman Sachs, as well as leadership positions at McKinsey in both London and South Africa. Sarah sits on the boards of directors of Walmart and ConsenSys, as well as the advisory boards of HOPE Global and Blavatnik School of Government. She is the co-founder of Ladies Who Launch, a nonprofit that celebrates and empowers women entrepreneurs. Sarah earned her MEng in Metallurgy, Economics, and Management from the University of Oxford and her MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where she graduated as an Arjay Miller scholar. She holds an honorary doctorate from Ulster University and in 2019 was granted an OBE from Queen Elizabeth II for services to entrepreneurship.

    Prakash Janakiraman

    Co-Founder, Chief Architect, Head of DEIB

    Prakash is Nextdoor’s Co-Founder, Chief Architect, and Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). Prakash previously led engineering teams for Google Maps. Prior to that, Prakash was at Shopping.com, Epinions, and Excite@Home.

    Prakash has over 25 years of experience building and leading engineering teams for large-scale consumer internet applications. In addition to leading Nextdoor’s overall technology strategy, Prakash oversees Nextdoor’s DEIB efforts to make the company and platform welcoming to all. Prior to co-founding Nextdoor, Prakash spent nearly three years at Google, where he led the core engineering teams for Google Maps and Google Base. Prakash also previously held engineering roles at Shopping.com, Epinions, and Excite@Home building community, commerce, and content applications. Prakash attended the University of California, Berkeley.

    Craig Lisowski

    Head of Data, Information Systems & Trust

    Craig is Nextdoor’s Head of Data, Information Systems, and Trust. Before joining Nextdoor, Craig was Head of Business Platform Engineering at Square. Prior to that, Craig held leadership roles at Silicon Graphics, VeriSign, and Oracle.

    Craig brings more than 20 years of wide-ranging experience in engineering, data analytics, business development, and IT. Most recently, Craig was Head of Business Platform Engineering at Square for nearly six years, where he oversaw large scale data systems to track money movement for all products, led multiple engineering functions for compliance, direct e-commerce sales, customer success, as well as information technology. Craig also held various technology and business leadership roles at Silicon Graphics, VeriSign, and Oracle. Craig attended Carleton University.

    John Orta

    Head of Legal & Corporate & Business Development

    John is Nextdoor’s Head of Legal & Corporate Development and oversees the legal, policy and corporate development teams. Before joining Nextdoor, John was General Counsel & Chief People Officer at Metromile, and SVP & General Counsel at OpenTable.

    John joined Nextdoor from Metromile, the leader in pay-per-mile auto insurance where he was the Chief People Officer & General Counsel. Prior to his role at Metromile, John was SVP & General Counsel at OpenTable, leading the legal team during the company’s IPO in 2009, and OpenTable’s purchase by The Priceline Group in 2014. Adjacent to his role at Nextdoor, John is also a professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law. John is a proud graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also received a JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

    Bryan Power

    Head of People

    Bryan is Nextdoor’s Head of People. He was most recently Chief Human Resources Officer at Yahoo. Bryan held a similar role at Square and prior to that spent eight years at Google.

    Bryan Power brings more than 20 years of human resources and talent acquisition experience to Nextdoor – most recently as Chief Human Resources Officer at Yahoo. Throughout his time at Yahoo, Bryan was responsible for leading the global People Team, serving more than 10,000 employees in 30 offices across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. Prior to Yahoo, Bryan held a similar role at Square, successfully growing the company from 350 to 1600 employees, and ramping employee programs and HR infrastructure ahead of the company’s successful public offering in November 2015. Previous to Square, Bryan spent eight years at Google. He is also a board member of Avenica, a U.S. recruiting firm that focuses on placing recent college graduates into entry-level career-track positions, as well as an advisor to a number of high growth tech companies in San Francisco.

    Kiran Prasad

    Head of Product

    Kiran is Nextdoor’s Head of Product, overseeing Nextdoor’s global product and design team. Prior to joining Nextdoor, Kiran was the Vice President of Product at LinkedIn.

    Before Nextdoor, Kiran served as Vice President of Product at LinkedIn, where he led strategy and product development for the LinkedIn Consumer experience and Premium businesses. Prior, he managed engineering for the Consumer experience at LinkedIn, rebuilding the mobile and desktop platform before moving into Product Management in 2017. Before joining LinkedIn, he was the Senior Director of Applications at Palm, Inc.

    Antonio Silveira

    Head of Engineering

    Antonio is Nextdoor’s Head of Engineering. He was most recently VP of Engineering at GoDaddy, held leadership positions at Yahoo, and has led engineering teams in five continents.

    Antonio brings more than 20 years experience in various engineering roles and oversees Nextdoor’s engineering teams to build stable, scalable, and innovative platforms, working closely alongside Nextdoor’s product, design, and data teams to better serve our neighbours and organisations. Prior to Nextdoor, Antonio was VP of Engineering at GoDaddy, developing product lines that empowered small business owners to build their online presence and grow their businesses, Antonio also held leadership positions at Yahoo where he led engineering for products including Yahoo Mail, Messenger, User Profiles, and Interests.
